Paintbrush

I keep my paint brush wif meWhenever I may go, In case I need to cover up So the real me doesnt show I'm so afraid of wat you will do--tat You might laugh or say mean things. Im afraid I might lose you. I'd like to remove all my paint coats To show u the real, true me, But I want u to try and understand, I need u to accept wat u see So if u will be patient and close ur eyes, I'll strip off all my coats real slow. Now my coats are all stripped off. I feel naked, bare and cold, And if u still love me wif all tat u see, You are my fren, pure as gold. I need to save my paintbrush, though, And hold it in my hands, I want to keep it handy In case somebody doesnt understand. So please protect me, my dear fren And thanks for loving me true, But please let me keep my paint brush wif me Until I love me, too |
